The Difference between Model 5500 & Model 7500

The specifications of Model 5500 & Model 7500 are exactly same including performance, capacity, function, as well as parts and accessories. The only difference between Model 5500 and Model 7500 is ;

- Model 7500 has an automatic reverse function for jamming by overload.
- Model 5500 has a manual button for reverse function and you can release jamming manually by pressing the reverse button.

The reason we recommend the Model 5500 over than Model 7500 is that, sometimes, the automatic-reverse function of Model 7500 engages due to the sensitivity of the overload sensor and can unnecessarily interrupt continuous juicing. With the Model 5500, when using the manual reverse button, you are able to control the reverse operation - the amount of time you need to press/hold the button to release the jam (normally it takes about 3 to 5 seconds) which is not a function available on the 7500. Accordingly, we recommend Model 5500 instead of 7500 to avoid the possibility of unnecessarily interrupting continuous juicing.

When I started juicing about 3 years ago, I bought a twin gear juicer to join the juice therapy program. I was in the market for a new juicer and came across the Super Angel 3500. I was impressed with its construction but was concerned about the price. $900 to me is a lot of money to spend on a juicer, especially if it doesn't do any better than what one currently has. When I placed the order for the Super Angel 3500 I was already in possession of a centrifugal and a single augur juicer.
